Volunteer Appreciation Night @ LeGrand Center, 5:00-7:00 p.m.

August 5
5th Annual 7th Inning Stretch Festival – Uptown Shelby
5k run/walk, 8:00 am
Little Miss ALWS Pageant, 2:30 pm

Festival 3:00-10:00 pm with kids’ activities, cornhole, drumline showcase, dunking booth, mascots and FREE concerts all day.
Charlie Daniels Band – FREE concert.
8:30 pm
Bring a chair or blanket and have a good time! (Streets blocked)

August 6
Regional Champions determined!

August 8
Teams arrive in Shelby.

National Commander’s Reception @ LeGrand Center, 6:00 p.m. 
By invitation – for National Officials & Sponsors.  North Carolina Army National Guard equipment on display.  Special presentations at reception. Kellie Pickler – Entertainer

August 9

Welcome to Shelby – UpTown Shelby

August 10 – Games begin
Senior Citizens Day!  Seniors receive Free Admission. 

August 11 – Games continue
Salute to Academic Achievement Day – Students who participated in special summer academic courses receive a tournament pass courtesy of a sponsor.

August 12 – Games continue
USAA Military Appreciation Day – Veterans and Military Personnel receive free admission

Yoga in the Outfield, 9:00 am

First 600 veterans and active military personnel receive free caps & free commemorative coins & awards
