Getting ready for #ALWS22 work has begun at Keeter Stadium on the extension of the canopy.
Morrison Construction is in charge of the work, which will not disrupt the Shelby High School or American Legion Baseball games this season. The huge hole visible in the photos is for the foundation for one of the columns that will hold the canopy. Each foundation requires 38,000 pounds of concrete.
Workers removed some of the bleachers so they could install a level foundation for the crane.
